I've just come back from Scotland where we had a very peaceful time, just walking from the cottages we were staying in, we hardly used the car once we were in our chosen locations, so I was able to indulge one of my favourite pastimes of beach-combing....
When I'm in the north west highlands and islands of Scotland I'm always fascinated by the rocks, on the mountains and the sea shore, scrabbling around in rock pools looking for treasures. My pockets are always full of shells and pebbles, so photographs of some of my favourite stones, shells and rock formations will crop up from time to time, together with other detailed shots of subjects that catch my eye and my lens!
